- Custom Lists: Manage courts, case types, and legal sections
- Contacts Management: Store and manage party, advocate, and important contact details linked to your cases
- Reports: Generate case reports and analytics (Premium feature)
- Cloud Sync: Synchronize data across multiple devices
- Notifications: Push and local notifications for upcoming court dates
- Offline Mode: Access and view cases without internet connection
The Service is provided "as-is" and we reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time with or without notice.
3. News Feed and Third-Party Content
3.1 News Feed Feature
Lawyer Diary Pro provides a news feed feature that displays articles and updates related to the Indian judicial system, legal developments, and the legal profession. This content is automatically aggregated from third-party sources and publicly available legal news publishers.
3.2 Editorial Neutrality and Non-Discrimination

Content Neutrality

- Regional or linguistic preferences
Our app serves legal professionals of all backgrounds equally and without discrimination.
No Editorial Bias
You acknowledge and agree that:

4. User Accounts

- Apple Sign-In: Available for iOS users (recommended)

- Not sharing your account access with others
- Logging out from shared devices
4.3 Account Restrictions
You may only create one account per person. Multiple accounts for the same individual are prohibited unless explicitly authorized by us.
4.4 Cross-Platform Account Linking
We implement secure account linking to provide seamless access across devices and platforms:
Apple Sign-In Users
When you use Sign in with Apple, we store your Apple User ID to enable:
- Seamless sign-in across different iOS devices using the same Apple ID
- Account recovery if you sign in on a new device
- Prevention of duplicate accounts for the same Apple ID
- Subscription access across all your devices
Privacy Protection: The Apple User ID is a unique identifier that does not reveal your personal Apple ID email address unless you choose to share it.
Google Sign-In Users
When you use Google Sign-In, your Google Account ID enables similar functionality across Android, iOS, and web platforms.
Single Account, Multiple Devices
Your subscription and data are linked to your account (not your device), allowing you to:
- Access your cases from any device where you're signed in
- Subscribe once and use premium features on all platforms
- Switch between devices seamlessly with automatic data sync
5. Subscriptions and Payments
5.1 Subscription Plans
Lawyer Diary Pro offers the following subscription plans:
- Free Plan: Limited to 10 case entries or 1 month of usage (whichever comes first)
- Monthly Premium: ₹150 per month - Unlimited cases and premium features
- Yearly Premium: ₹1,500 per year - Unlimited cases and premium features (save ₹300)
5.2 Payment Processing
Subscription payments are processed securely through platform-specific stores:
- iOS Users: Payments processed through Apple App Store (iTunes Account)
- Android Users: Payments processed through Google Play Billing
By purchasing a subscription, you agree to:
- Provide accurate payment information to Google Play
- Pay all applicable fees and taxes
- Authorize recurring charges for subscription renewals
We do not store or have access to your payment card information. All payment data is handled by Google Play in accordance with their terms and policies.
5.3 Automatic Renewal
⚠️ Important: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You will be charged the then-current subscription fee.
To cancel your subscription:
For iOS Users:
- Open Settings on your iPhone/iPad
- Tap your name at the top
- Tap Subscriptions
- Select Lawyer Diary Pro
- Tap "Cancel Subscription"
For Android Users:
- Open Google Play Store on your device
- Go to Menu → Subscriptions
- Select Lawyer Diary Pro
- Tap "Cancel Subscription"
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to premium features until then.
5.4 Refunds
Refund policies vary by platform:
iOS Users (Apple App Store):
- All purchases are subject to Apple's refund policy
- Request refunds directly through Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com
- Or contact Apple Support for refund requests
- We do not process iOS refunds directly
Android Users (Google Play):
- All purchases are subject to Google Play's refund policy
- Refunds within 48 hours may be granted at Google's discretion

5.5 Price Changes
We reserve the right to change subscription prices at any time. Price changes will not affect current subscribers until their next renewal period. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of any price increases.
5.6 Cross-Platform Subscription Access
Premium subscriptions purchased on any platform grant you access to premium features across all platforms:
- Subscribe on iOS → Access on iOS, Android, and Web
- Subscribe on Android → Access on iOS, Android, and Web
- Your subscription is linked to your account (email), not your device
Account Linking
Your subscription is tied to your authentication account (Apple ID or Google account), not to a specific device:
- Sign in with the same Apple ID → Premium access restored automatically
- Sign in with the same Google account → Premium access restored automatically
- One subscription covers unlimited devices under the same account
Important: While you can access premium features on all platforms, you can only manage your subscription (cancel, renew) through the platform where you originally subscribed:
- Subscribed on iOS? Manage through iTunes Account Settings
- Subscribed on Android? Manage through Google Play Store
5.7 Subscription Verification and Refresh
Your subscription status is automatically verified with Apple/Google servers to ensure accurate premium access:
- Automatic Verification: The app periodically checks your subscription status with Apple/Google
- Manual Refresh: You can manually refresh your subscription status at any time via Settings → General Settings
- Renewal Detection: Auto-renewal status is monitored and updated automatically
- Expiry Detection: Daily automated checks detect expired subscriptions and update account status
This ensures your premium access is always accurate and up-to-date with your actual subscription status in the App Store or Play Store.
5A. Apple App Store Specific Terms
For iOS Users: The following additional terms apply to your use of Lawyer Diary Pro obtained through the Apple App Store.
5A.1 Acknowledgment
You acknowledge that:
- These Terms are between you and Jarvis Technologies only, not with Apple
- Jarvis Technologies, not Apple, is solely responsible for the Service and its content
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support services
5A.2 Scope of License
The license granted to you is limited to a non-transferable license to use the application on any Apple-branded product that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the App Store Terms of Service.
5A.3 Maintenance and Support
Jarvis Technologies is responsible for providing maintenance and support services. Apple has no obligation to furnish such services.
5A.4 Warranty
In the event of any failure to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any). To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the Service.
5A.5 Product Claims
Jarvis Technologies, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to:
- The Service or your possession/use of it
- Product liability claims
- Failure to conform to legal or regulatory requirements
- Consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation
5A.6 Intellectual Property Rights
In the event of any third-party claim that the Service infringes intellectual property rights, Jarvis Technologies, not Apple, is responsible for investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of such claim.
5A.7 Legal Compliance
You represent and warrant that:
- You are not located in a country subject to U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country
- You are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties
5A.8 Third-Party Beneficiary
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms. Upon your acceptance, Apple has the right to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

6.1 Trial Period
New users receive a free trial with the following limits:
- 10 case entries OR 1 month of usage (whichever comes first)
- Full access to all features during trial period
- No credit card required for trial
6.2 After Trial Expiration
When your free trial ends, the following restrictions apply:
- ✅ View existing cases (read-only access)
- ❌ Cannot add new cases
- ❌ Cannot edit existing cases
- ❌ Cannot access reports and analytics
- ❌ Cannot manage courts, case types, or sections
6.3 Upgrading During Trial
You may upgrade to a Premium subscription at any time during your trial period. Your trial will end immediately upon subscription purchase.
6.4 One Trial Per User
The free trial is limited to one per user. Creating multiple accounts to abuse the trial system is strictly prohibited and may result in account suspension.
7. Acceptable Use
7.1 Permitted Use
You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree to use the Service:
- For managing your own legal cases and professional work
- In compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- In a manner that does not infringe on others' rights
- Respecting the intellectual property rights of others
7.2 Prohibited Activities
You agree NOT to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose or to violate any laws
- Share your account credentials with unauthorized users
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application
- Remove or modify any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service

You retain all ownership rights to the content you create, upload, or store in the Service ("User Content"), including:

- Contact details of parties, advocates, and other persons associated with your cases
9.2 License Grant
By uploading User Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:
- Store and process your content on our servers
- Display your content back to you in the application
- Sync your content across your devices
- Create backups of your content
We will NOT:
- Share your content with third parties (except as required by law)
- Use your content for advertising or marketing
- Sell or license your content to others
- Claim ownership of your content
9.3 Content Responsibility
You are solely responsible for:
- The accuracy and legality of your User Content
- Obtaining necessary permissions for any content you upload
- Ensuring your content doesn't violate any laws or third-party rights

9.4 Content Backup
While we perform regular backups, you are responsible for maintaining your own backup copies of important data. We recommend regularly exporting your data.
9.5 Content Removal
We reserve the right to remove any User Content that:
- Violates these Terms or our policies
- Infringes on intellectual property rights
- Contains illegal, harmful, or offensive material
- Is reported by legitimate rights holders
10. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, functionality, and content (excluding User Content), is owned by Jarvis Technologies and is protected by:

"Lawyer Diary Pro" and the associated logos are trademarks of Jarvis Technologies. You may not use these trademarks without our prior written consent.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:
- Download and use the mobile application on your devices
- Access and use the web platform
- Use the Service for its intended purpose
This license does NOT include rights to:
- Modify, copy, or create derivative works
- Reverse engineer or decompile the application
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service
- Remove proprietary notices or labels
11. Account Termination and Data Deletion
11.1 User-Initiated Termination
You may terminate your account at any time through the app settings. Upon termination:
- Your account will be immediately deactivated
- You will be unable to access the app or your data
- Your data will be retained for 30 days to allow for account recovery
- After 30 days, all data will be permanently deleted
11.2 Two-Phase Deletion Process
We implement a two-phase account deletion process:
Phase 1 - Immediate Deactivation:
- Account access blocked immediately
- Notification tokens deactivated
- Active subscriptions cancelled
- Data preserved for 30-day grace period
Phase 2 - Permanent Deletion (After 30 Days):
- All case records permanently deleted
- All uploaded files and documents removed
- All contact data (party contacts, advocate contacts, important contacts) permanently deleted
- Account information erased
- No recovery possible after this point
11.3 Account Recovery
Within the 30-day grace period, you may recover your account by:
- Contacting us at ldproapp@gmail.com
- Providing your registered email address
- Confirming your identity
Upon successful verification, we will restore full access to your account and data within 1 business day.
11.4 Company-Initiated Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if:
- You violate these Terms of Service
- You engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
- Your account shows signs of unauthorized access or compromise
- Required by law or legal authority
In such cases, we will notify you via email and provide an opportunity to export your data before permanent deletion.
11.5 Data Export
Before requesting account deletion, we strongly recommend exporting your data:
- Navigate to Settings → Account Management → Export Data
- Download your case data in CSV format
- Save uploaded files separately (bulk export not available)
Once data is permanently deleted after 30 days, it cannot be recovered.
11.6 Subscription Cancellation Upon Termination
If you have an active premium subscription when terminating your account:
- The subscription will be automatically cancelled in our system
- You will not be charged for future billing periods
- You retain premium access until the current subscription period ends
- Refunds (if applicable) are subject to our Refund Policy
- You should also manually cancel through the subscription platform:
- iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions
- Android: Google Play Store → Subscriptions
11.7 Effect of Termination
Upon termination of your account:
- Your license to use the app immediately ceases
- All data associated with your account will be deleted as per our deletion timeline
- Any outstanding fees or charges remain due and payable
- Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:
- Merchantability: The Service is fit for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement: The Service doesn't violate third-party rights
- Accuracy: Information in the Service is accurate or complete
- Reliability: The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
- Security: The Service is completely secure or virus-free
- Data Loss: Your data will never be lost or corrupted

- Sign in with Apple (iOS authentication)

- Apple App Store (iOS subscriptions and payments)
- Google Play Store (Android subscriptions and payments)
- Apple Push Notification Service (iOS notifications)
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (push notifications)
- Cloud Functions (subscription verification and automated tasks)
- WhatsApp (third-party communication app launched via contact action buttons)
We are not responsible for:
- Availability or reliability of third-party services
- Changes to third-party services or policies
- Actions or omissions of third-party service providers
13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JARVIS TECHNOLOGIES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

14. Termination

- Your User Content will be permanently deleted within 30 days
- Backup copies will be deleted within 90 days
- Active subscriptions will remain active until the current billing period ends

- You violate these Terms or our policies
- You engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
- You abuse the Service or harm other users

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
16.2 Jurisdiction
You agree that any legal action or proceeding relating to these Terms or the Service shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
16.3 Dispute Resolution
Before filing any legal claim, you agree to:

- Provide a detailed description of the dispute and your desired resolution
- Give us 30 days to respond and attempt to resolve the issue

16.5 Time Limitation
You must bring any claim within one (1) year after the claim arises, or the claim is permanently barred.

- Government actions or regulations
- Internet or telecommunications failures
- Third-party service outages

These Terms are provided in English. Any translation is provided for convenience only. In case of conflict, the English version shall prevail.
17.7 No Partnership
Nothing in these Terms shall be construed to create a partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship between you and Jarvis Technologies.
17.8 Third-Party Beneficiaries
These Terms do not confer any third-party beneficiary rights.
17.9 Export Compliance
You agree to comply with all applicable export and import laws and regulations in your use of the Service.
17.10 Mobile Carrier Charges
You are responsible for any charges imposed by your mobile carrier for data usage or text messaging while using the Service.
