Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Can I get a refund directly from Jarvis Technologies?
No, we cannot process refunds directly. All purchases are handled through Google Play, and only Google Play can issue refunds. Please contact Google Play Support using the methods outlined above.
I was charged but didn't mean to subscribe. What do I do?
Request a refund from Google Play immediately (within 48 hours for best results). Explain that it was an accidental purchase. Also, cancel the subscription to prevent future charges.
How long does it take to get a refund?
If Google Play approves your refund, it typically takes 3-5 business days for the money to appear in your account, depending on your payment method. Some can take up to 10 business days.
Will I lose my data if I cancel my subscription?
No! Your data is safe. After cancellation, you'll still have read-only access to all your cases. You just won't be able to add new cases or edit existing ones until you resubscribe.
Can I switch from monthly to yearly plan?
Yes! Cancel your monthly subscription, then subscribe to the yearly plan. Note that you won't get a refund for the remaining monthly period, but you'll save ₹300 annually going forward.
What happens after my free trial ends?
After your free trial (10 cases OR 1 month), you can continue viewing your cases but cannot add new ones or edit existing cases. Upgrade to Premium to unlock unlimited cases and all features.
Can I pause my subscription instead of canceling?
Google Play doesn't offer a pause feature. You can cancel and resubscribe when you're ready. Your data will remain intact during the gap.
I forgot to cancel and was charged again. Can I get a refund?
Contact Google Play Support and explain the situation. They handle these on a case-by-case basis. Cancel your subscription immediately to prevent future charges.
Does uninstalling the app cancel my subscription?
No! Uninstalling the app does NOT cancel your subscription. You must cancel through Google Play Store to stop being charged. You can cancel and still keep the app installed.
Can I get a refund if the app isn't working properly?
First, contact our support team at ldproapp@gmail.com - we'll help fix any technical issues. If we can't resolve it, then request a refund from Google Play and mention the technical problems you experienced.
What's included in Premium vs Free plan?
Free Plan: 10 case entries OR 1 month (whichever first), read-only after trial
Premium Plan: Unlimited cases, full editing, reports & analytics, cloud sync, priority support
Can I get a pro-rated refund if I cancel mid-month?
Google Play doesn't provide pro-rated refunds. When you cancel, you keep premium access until the end of your current billing period, so you're using what you paid for.
I was charged twice by mistake. What should I do?
Contact Google Play Support immediately with proof of the duplicate charge (screenshots of both charges). Duplicate charges are usually refunded quickly once verified.
How do I check when my subscription renews?
Open Google Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Lawyer Diary Pro. You'll see your renewal date and next charge date.
Can I get a refund and keep using the premium features?
No. If Google Play approves your refund, your subscription will be canceled and you'll lose premium access immediately or at the end of the billing period.
Will my court reminders still work after canceling?
Yes! Court date reminders will continue to work even on the Free plan for cases you've already created. You just won't be able to add new cases or edit existing ones.
Is there a family or multi-user plan?
Currently, subscriptions are for individual use only. Each user needs their own subscription. We're considering family plans for future updates.
Can I transfer my subscription to another Google account?
No, subscriptions are tied to the specific Google account used for purchase and cannot be transferred. You would need to cancel and subscribe with the new account.
What payment methods does Google Play accept?
Google Play accepts credit/debit cards, net banking, UPI, Google Play balance, and carrier billing (depending on your carrier). Refunds are returned to the original payment method.
Google rejected my refund request. What now?
If you believe you have a valid reason, you can appeal the decision by contacting Google Play Support again. Alternatively, contact our support team and we'll see if we can help with your specific situation.
How do I request a refund on iOS?

Where do I cancel my iOS subscription?

Can I switch between iOS and Android subscriptions?

I subscribed on iOS but now use Android. How do I manage my subscription?
You must manage your subscription through the platform where you originally subscribed (iOS in this case). Your premium access works on Android, but cancellation/changes must be done through iTunes Account Settings on iOS.
